HD555 6.3mm to 3.5mm adapter

Hi,
I have a simple question.
Will these adapters (6.3->3.5) effect the SQ of my HD555 connected to X-fi xtreme music and Iaudio D2/G3.
- Stock adapter (as reference)
- Sennheiser cable adapter (http://shop.sennheiserusa.com/retail...ct_prod=092595)
- A cheap cable adapter (http://elektronica-online.nl/content_details.php?id=602)

Only the third adapter seems to be sold in Holland. Should I make a hard effort to get a gold plated one?

I hope you can help me.

any 1/4 to 1/8" will work. You won't notice teh difference between cheap ones and expensive gold plated adapters.

It shouldn't. I'll report back if that sennheiser cable adapter you linked I just ordered doesn't play well with my Grado SR-225s :-p
