Do people ever replace the 1/4" Grado plug with a 1/8" one?

I didn't realize the sr-225 came with a 1/4" plug. I also bought the grado 1/4-1/8 adapter cable but now would rather have the sr-225 terminate with a 1/8" plug. Is it an easy mod to change the plug, do people here provide the service, where do I find a decent 1/8" plug to replace it with?

One can post a request for this sort of thing in the FS forum, thought I'm not sure you have enough posts to do so.

I know that Cantsleep and [AK]Zip do headphone recables. You could try contacting one of them.

You could also buy a Grado adapter.
