The Intel Macs aren't picky. I've used Patriot, Corsair, Kingston, Micron, Hynix... almost any brand. That's in about 6-8 different Intel Macs. Macbooks, Macbook Pro's, iMacs.

I buy pretty much all my upgrades from Find the latest Performance Upgrades, Firewire and USB Hard Drives, SATA, Memory, Laptop Battery, and more at OWC. *Top notch* customer service, probably the most respected in the Mac world for many years.

Thanks for the link.
I will work my way down the list, and hopefully find a useful application of two that is all new to me.

My second most favourite app after Quicksilver is now OmniFocus, a recently-final-released task management programme. I'm not a strict follower of the GTD methodology, but the workflow with it is great and there are tons of customizations possibilities. I only wish it also had a column for setting priorities. Rather expensive (various discounts apply) but an indispensable tool for people like myself who lack talent in micromanaging things. Also got a Macworld Best of Show Award.
