Does anyone have a dedicated line for their headphone setup? If so, did it improve the sound, and do you feel it was worth it?

Yes to all of the above. I had my electrician put in a dedicated line about 2 years ago, and it does sound better. Not as noticable a difference as when I purchased my Tice Audio line conditioner, but very definately an improvement. Being a contractor I was able to get a very good price from my regular electrical sub. I'm not sure I'd spend over $200.00 unless your existing power is totally inadequate, or you have a megabuck system. If your existing wiring is adequate your money may be better spent on line conditioning first.
Interesting. I don’t notice any major problems with the power on my system while listening to it. I don’t notice hum of any kind. I have an air purifier plugged in on the same wall that when it’s on its lowest setting I can hear the fan in it slowing down periodically. In the same room when I turn on the ceiling fan the TV flickers. So I’m assuming some of these outlets are sharing the wiring, and that can’t be a good thing. There are so many products, brands, and opinions when it comes to power conditioners and regenerators that I can’t figure out a definitive way to go with them. I have read that an isolation transformer is good to add for your source. I have also read many cases where power conditioners have a restricting or general negative affect on sound quality and dynamics. I’m always looking for ways to improve my system, but want to make sure I go the best way from the start rather than going on an expensive and frustrating path that leads me right back to where I started in the end.

totally useless IMO, do one for your power amp, however, maybe beneficial.
