Negative experience

Well here's the fly in the ointment for you..

Bought a pair of E2g's recabled with silver wires from Marcus but he failed to mention that the wires would not sit properly behind the ears as they should due to their being thin & stiff.

He also didn't point out in the original sales thread that the right earpiece had some very obvious glue marks from the recabling job. He did post a blurry photo of the earphones but I couldn't tell as they were unclear & besides he should've been transparent & upfront in mentioning the facts in the first place. All the details of the original sales thread have since been deleted by him.

The fact that the wires would not sit properly & the shoddy recabling work made the earphones unusable & unacceptable to me. I also didn't like the tinny & loss of bass sound after the recabling.

I requested to return the earphones to him for a refund of SGD$75, $10 off the original price of SGD$85 that I paid for them for the inconvenience to him but he would only refund me SGD$70. The postage only cost him SSG$0.80 cents. I found it an unreasonable, unfair & unpleasant experience.

Bought a grado 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor from Marcus. Package arrived well packed and on time. No issues with the transaction, cheers.

Marcus sold me a ready-made CKKIII (which he did not build).

Prompt and reliable, it's a pleasure to deal with him. Would not hesitate to buy from/sell stuff to him in the future.

I bought a very unique Alessandro wooden box for MS2i from Marcus who was very communicative throughout the process. He provided adequate protection to the box and when he found out the adhesive tape he used in packing stained the box, he came forward to offer compensation and help. Although I finally managed to clean up the stain myself I found Marcus to be friendly and sincere, and would not hesitate to deal with him again in the future.

Marcus sold me a pair of GS1000 pads. Communication was excellent. He managed to ship the package even when he's just released from hospital. I really appreciate how he handled this transaction.
