Need Help Replacement Cable (Sennheiser)

Hey

My stock Sennheiser hd535 cable is messed up and I need a new cable for it.

I was wondering if I could use the hd650 cable on it?

I read here (http://www.stevehoffman.tv/forums/ar...p/t-68413.html)
that people were replacing their hd600 cables with hd650 ones. I just wanted a 2nd opinion from head-fi folks.

The hd600 cable is the same as my hd535 cable, so that's why I was thinking I could just get the hd650 cable.

Anyone know the diff. between the hd535/600 cable vs. the hd650 cable?

Also, does the hd650 cable have a 1/4" or 1/8" connector? If it has the 1/4" connector does it come with an adapter to 1/8"?

Thanks

While the hd650 cable is for ceratin better then the stock hd600 cable, it is somehow still limiting the headphone...Another brand aftermarket cable would be better. Although a good low cost alternative, i think the aftermarket cables will give you more...also for quite more money.

You can test it out yourself, since the cable only cost a couple of quit, compared to the hundreds of dollars for the aftermarket cables.

I got a replacement cable for my HD-590s for $8 at the Sennheiser website. Works like a charm.

See ya
Steve
