You cannot deny this. If you haven't tried one yet, go to your local oriental supermarket and buy one NOW. And how does one find them stinky? Its smell is one of the draws although I guess I'm used to it seeing as how I grew up eating it (asian, I am)

I normally consume them in semi-frozen blended form.

I attempted to eat it once, but I couldn't get close enough. It smelled too bad and I couldn't hold my breath long enough.

i'm not a big fan of durian but the rest of my family loves it. the only way that i can eat it is fried.

Iv'e been wanting to try on eof these for the longest time- my friend who goes to thailand says they taste somewhat liek ice cream. Don't know the validity to this, but still It looks like an interesting fruit.

I'll have to down to farmer's market and pick one up.

The problem is you guys have probably never had fresh top grade durian that cost about $20-30 a fruit. The frozen stuff is the sh*ts
