I'm impressed by the thickness of the cable (after the 2 sides come together).
I have absolutely no DIY experience, so I'm afraid to try any kind of mod even if minor.
As an aside, the headband adjuster seems kind of flimsy, just a note.
Be very careful with that adjuster! Mine developed a crack when i only had a few months on it. Superglue and a tight hold fixed it but it happened without any wild usage. Impossible to get that part too. So gentle is the word, don't pull on cups at all, use two hands!
As a side note.
I would not recommend anybody to take these phones apart, it is no problem to do so a couple of times, but when we got small screws and pine (that is very soft) it is not a good mix and I fear if it is done more then once or twice, the screws will not be able to hold it toogether anymore..
Give a try of Top MEIER CLASSIC
This is a really great amp
never had any problem with the headband
Just joined the club. Do the DX1000's come with a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor?
Nope
Ok, thanks. I just bought an Apex Glacier, will this drive the DX1000's ok?
My Dx1000 has an adapter
Yup, I bought mine used, but it says JVC on it, so I guess it must have been there from the start..
How long ago was that? I bought mine a few months ago but no adapter included.
the jvc has an enormous bass impact.the problem is controlling them
