Ultrasone proline 750 the good news and the bad news.

the bad news

unfortunately my wife suffered a back injury on saturday which resulted in me calling an ambulance. she's at home now, but in alot of discomfort, so i won't being going to london.

the good news

My ultrasone's have arrive and i can now spend a bit of time with them.
literally i've had 5 minutes with them, and of course they are a new listening experience, and so i'll reserve full judgement for later.

unlike any headphones i've had, i understand why you run to burn these in, because although the sound is impressive, I'm not fully convinced.....yet.

first impressions, they are very big, have alot of extras (i'll show you later) but apart for the tardiness on behalf of iheadphones, I'm very pleased.

forgive me for not giving you the full works yet, i've taken lots of pictures, but because i have an imac the fuji camera i have doesn't run on my platform.

for any apple people out there, it's a os x 10.4.8 but the deriver software only goes upto 10.3.8

I'm buying a card reader and hopefully soon i'll have a shed load of pictures and of course the best report, that i can write. stay tuned.

Well, we always like to get the bad news out of the way first, captian, so please pass along my best to the mrs.!

And like the unfortunate injury to your wife, the 750s straight out of the box can be bad news indeed. However, the good news is that it's nothing that a good 200 hour run-in under their headbands won't fix.

So with a little luck, both will be on the mend and coming back on-song in no time!

Regarding your camera, go to the Fuji website and see if there is a driver-update to download there for your os x 10.4.8.

thanks for your kids words. i must say i've been upstairs with the wife, and now i've put the headphones back on , and the bass is kicking in nicely.

that's the first place i went, but the downloads are the same for the disc driver.

Do you have iPhoto? You shouldn't even need a specific driver with that. Just a memory card reader.

yes, but headfi don't accept photos over 25kb and iphoto takes it at 75kb.

i'm trying to sorrt it out, but i'm trying to start a new blog and looking after the trouble and strife aswell.

here's a few pictures of me








be in no doubt, these things are massive!

Use Imageshack.us

Upload the image, and then copy the "Hotlink for forums" link into your post here. And better let imagesahck resize it to 800x600 max (you can see the option on their page) , so that people can view it properly here.

rhymesgalore, everytime i copy the link code into the 'image' option, it jsut sends a link back to image shack?

it say hotlink for forums 1
hotlink for forums 2

and 2 codes that go with it. but like i said, when i entered the code inot image option, it was a link to image shack.

Don't use the image option of the forum. Just paste the link as it is in your post. Then it works^^

The burn-in journey is long and arduous, captian, but well worth the wait. Hang in there!

DAY 2

these are getting better and better. i would deffinately reccomend them over the grado 125's for ............ everything really but especially for ROCK lovers.

anyway i've been listening to my BEST OF BOND ALBUM, james bond that is, not those women with violins, and AH HA's 'living daylights' i promise you there are subtle bass lines that i've never heard before.

stop thinking, and just buy them!
