Not really. Once you discover the K1000's there really isn't much else to learn.

I will refrain from unnecessary, but truly entertainng, snappy comebacks. Suffice to say that I find your mathematical reasoning and associative prowess amusing

And I still don't have a 1 post per day average yet....working on it, slowly.

EDIT: it'd be interesting ot see # of members joining by month, to see when things spiked. I imagine after the National Meet and coverage by groups like Stereophile and Enjoy The Music that it helped....
I'm sure there are soem spikes as you've suggested, but it has always been increasing at an increasing rate.

Hey, right back attcha c/p. You're quite clever for a 'young lady' who has blown out the candles on well over 20 birthday cakes! Maybe we should go out some time. j/k, don't want to have to deal with a Head-Fi harassment case.

there is a strange pride in having a low account number. for example, my fark.com account number is #425, and they are well on the way to a million members!

lol I totally agree.

I think I am one of the few people with a 6-digit ICQ#

I haven't logged on for years though.

I mean, really, what could be easier than answering the simple question of "What is your user number?" Then I could meet and greet each new member who stands up to be counted, with comments like, "Hey, Mike, that 8978 number that you have there sure is interesting. It reminds me of Cleveland."

Then an hour later I can check back in and answer the inevitable, "How so?" question with something like, "Well, back in '89 I was living in Ohio, and I'll bet I passed through Cleveland 7 or 8 times! That was while they were doing all of those renovations to the downtown area, and you wanna talk about traffic!"

Anyway, I'll try not to do that, but I'm glad this thread is showing some life.
