What would those concerns be? It's about as portable as an amp can get!

I'm a lazy/fussy bastard and if something doesn't fit in my back pocket it usually stays at home, so i guess It may be time to invest in some kind of bag

Pete,

Put me down for one. This is exactly what I've been waiting for. If you add a USB DAC, it would be perfect. I want serial number B025 to match my Wheatfield HA-2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is pretty extreme praise. How was it compared to your Darkvoice? Did it drive the K340s well?

Uh no. But that's asking quite a bit. It did drive them, but not what I'd call well. It drove 650's very well though. The sound sig. was not unlike the Darkvoice, but not all that similar either. It had it's own sound, but I think we all agreed it was a very good one. I personally thought it had much more authority than the LDII, granted it will cost a good bit more, but you could use this as your amp for all occasions provided you don't own K340's.

So it's not ideal for the old very high impedance AKGs? Good, I found an excuse not to buy one.

No, and the other issue is that it's almost too good of an amp for most portable headphones. I mean do I really want to drive my $70.00 K81DJ's from this killer $400.00 amp? It would make me want to upgrade my portables, and I'm not sure I'm ready to do that. It's a fantastic amp though.

The size of the thing is amazing (tiny!!). Can't wait until this becomes available.

I think 400$ isnt that much compared to e.g. Ray's products.

What about performance with IEMs?

Wow, that looks amazing. I really hope I don't have the money to buy that thing down the road, because I just might be tempted to...

Congrats on a great looking and from all accounts great sounding amp, Mr. Millett. If you are looking to guage interest in a production run, you can add me to the list. I would buy one today if they were available.

Cheers, and good luck with your decision.
