Tell my bride, as I tell her every day, that she is my one and only true love, that she is the most beautiful, compassionate and caring individual I have ever met, and that I am so lucky and privileged to be her friend, partner and companion. Give her a big hug and a gentle kiss. I have told her and done this every single day of our 34 years together (of course, hard to give a hug and kiss when on the road!). This takes about an hour to accomplish, so I have to find the right time!!! Or get us up early!
Yes, there will be flowers and I will cook her a special dinner, but she is most happy with my simple and genuine daily words and actions.
