All I have to say is that their awesome pair of headphones. Great sound stage, vocals are a bit too strong, you can feel the bass other than hearing it, and great for movies. Comfort is 4.5...
I know people bash on Bose because of they're over priced and I agree. I believe these retail for about $150 or so and I paid $85 for these due to employee discount at where I work. With that...
I bought these headphones as an upgrade from my BD DT-770 Pro 80Ohm.
The are better in all areas, except that the right can can't handle bass. As soon as there are low bass it just becomes a...

Hi, I am wondering what would be a good DAC to go with my HD600 and Headfive amp. I would be running it out of my macbook with apple lossless files. Thanks for any suggestions.
What's your source? I use the av-710 soundcard with the headfive and it sounds great, there will be little difference if any between that and a sub $300 DAC.
well so far I have just been using my ipod(line out out of a dock w/ applelossless) or macbook w/ apple lossless to audio research 3.5 mm headphone jack cable to my headfive to my HD600.
ipod out is okay, laptop out isn't all that good... If you have a desktop PC I would suggest the Chaintech av-710 sound card, there is a review above, when used with foobar, kernal streaming it sounds really good.
