Gross! Giant ball of earwax

post #1 of 28
Thread Starter
Has anyone ever removed a giant ball of earwax from their ears? I mean, I've had wax just appear in my ears before, but I just pulled the most giant ball of earwax I ever have. It just dropped out of nowhere into the exit of my ear. I wasn't sure if it was a bug or something, but it was wax. Am I a freak? Is this due to my new Tomahawk/IEM combo?

My earwax is very runny, so it doesnt form balls, it just kinda flows out...

I clean my ears at least once a day (deep cleaning) if not more often. My Ety's are clean after each use. Pictures would be cool, but you would have to put it back for full effect.......

Ever since Head-Fi, I've been dying to get my ears cleaned out.

Where do I go for this? haha.

Being asian, I'm lucky my earwax is the dry, flaky kind that just comes out with a quick swab of a Qtip.

Remind me never to buy IEM's from matt8268

What do you use to clean your ears out with?

@laxx

It's more liquidy, instead of flakey.

EDIT: To Advil,

Any medical institution? Preferably with either "ear" or "audio" in the title.

Earwax removal happens to be the best, most effective and cheapest audio tweak you can do. No compromises, no fiddling, no frustrations, almost a guaranteed "upgrade" (as apposed to a "side grade" or signature shift).

If you find the world too loud once the procedures done, ER20s are in order!

it's the kind that gets liquified when you have sealed can on too long - bass "brown noise" massaging the flakes into a gooey substance, which you then have to scrape out using your pinkie nail, squeeze out from between that nail and the pinky flesh, then eat.

wait, no one else does that last part? scratch that.
