Is there any chance any of these sennheiser cx300's are real? I'm pretty much a big phat newbie.

Oh, i didn't realise it was a widespread problem. Their almost certainly fake then. It's difficult to get a good look at most of the pictures to be able to tell.
Thanks heaps for the help.

i got real ones off of ebay from an asian dealer for $29 USD shipped. there are a ton of fakes out there. i went by the packaging on mine and that the pics were of what they were actually selling. they also had a lot of positive feedback. i've heard some fakes are coming in what looks to be real packaging so that isn't the best way to tell. i guess i got lucky.

x2. Yep, the risk is relatively low if you only go with extremely high feedback, and marginal if you get the seller to write you a message assuring you the headphones are real. Even packaging can be risky, as a lot of fake Senn earbuds also have convincing-looking packaging. I tend to trust OEM that calls itself OEM and doesn't even have the Senn or Creative logo on it-- much more likely to be coming from the real factory. But sometimes real, Senn-approved ones show up cheap as well.
