What cases does everyone use?

Thread Starter
hey all!

i recently got some HD555s for my ipod and love them! of course, the pda style case i had wouldnt allow me to plug them into the ipod, so off on a search i went, and i decided on the cheap iStyle brand 'muff'. they cost 10 bucks +shipping but are really of pretty good quality - very soft and thin. anyway, they leave the top open

so, whats everyone use for they're portable player?

For my Creative muvo 2, I use a plastic baggy. Thin and slick, it enables me to slide the player into my pocket with very little resistance and bulge, and it protects it from scratches.

I use a Marware black rubber & nylon case for my iPod: it's very hardy and is a good visual match for my Micro Stack. For ordinary use I stick to the original standard iPod belt-clip case, but I have velcro on the Marware for more "serious" portable applications.

I used to use an Agent 18 case for my ipod, until I saw the Belkin brush metal case in some thread! Now THAT'S my case! And everyone at the office is copying off of me!

Waterfield iPod Gear Bag (Large). Holds everything I need: iPod, amp, dock connector, 1or 2 sets of IEMS, spare battery, cleaning tool, airline adapter, and 2 line attenuators. When closed, it's slim enough to fit easily in one of my briefcase's document pockets. I don't travel anywhere without it.

My X5L lives in a zCover, and very snug it is in there too.

I use a gold colored Podsplus metal case on my ipod,

but the dock access is to small for many lods so I am going to switch to this Case-Mate case:

Which looks better?

Hmm... tricky. I thought the blue on first glance, but the green could be good - more understated. It's difficult to tell what they really look like in the flesh. Personally, I'd probably get the phantom black from that range, but maybe that's just my dark side showing...

You're sad that people are copying off you, and you copied of of someone yourself.

BTW, I did too. Here's my iPod.

Screenpatronus screen protector on the my iPod Video (a great product that is famous in the Blackberry world; doesn't seem that many iPod users know about it) and then slipped into the Apple leather case. Okay, it's grossly overpriced but it's a beauty and it doesn't get thinner.
