Need help with some measurements of Grado PS-1

I'm considering buying a pair of Liberators for the Grado PS-1s I just bought, but Dark Audio needs measurements, and I don't have the phones available right now (they're out for balancing). Can any PS-1 owners help? Specifically, what is the diameter of the
outer ring (where the foam earpad sits)? Also, is this ring done of black
plastic? Sorry for the silly questions, but I need to know before I order these Liberators. Many thanks, guys!

with my primitive ruler I got about 5.55 cm for the diameter of the cup.

and what is this dark plastic you speak of? there isn't much plastic about the PS1 other than the rod holders with the L/R markers, parts of the driver, and a few other bits. the cups are machined out of solid blocks of aluminum.
