i got a tax rebate, i'm back in business

the fact that i've lost my ipod is no longer an issue because i got a £83.51 tax rebate today. sure not that much, but it will do nicely (keep it between us, don't tell the wife).

so i've been reading alot about the ultrasone, but for the fioanl time i promise, i want heavy thumping bass, oh, and something i can plug into my ipod of course.

i have to admit, i'm not a big fan of those foldy, folding headphones, but what i want to know is does it have the kind of bass thump i'd get from the beyer 770's or 880's.

i want bass!

The hd485 might be a good alternative if you don't mind open cans. Do a search and you will see they provide pretty good bass at this price point.
