Brand New Ipod Photo 60GB for $70, a scam?

Hi everyone !

Yesterday, I came across a post on this forum :

Search for ''Ipod photo 60gb'' on the page and it says that they sell them for $70 a piece... I was really stoked to found that but I had to email them first.

Here's the response I got :

Hello, ok,we are selling the60gb ipod for $70usd and it is unlocked brand new ipod sealed in company original box with complete accessories, and it is one year international warrantee.we ship the ipod via fedex shipping company and the shipping cost to your door step is $40usd and we assure you that you will get the ipod in the next 48hours and we will send you air way bill receipt and a valid tracking number so as to track your package online.so do get back to us with your full shipping address and your personal phone number now so that we can start packing the ipod and get it ready for shippment now,ok.and we make payment via western union money transfer.
so the total amount including shipping cost $90usd.
thanks.

My question is : Is this a pure scam or a real deal ?

Yes it is a scam. Plus it seems they substituted "Cellphone" (just for you yanks) for iPod

The final clincher? Western Union. The favoured method of Nigerian scam artists. (not being racist, but it is)

That was too goo to be true ! hehe ... $70 + $40 = $90 ...hmm... yeah, right.

If it is too good to be true...
If it sounds like a duck and walks like a duck...

I don't know for a fact about this offer except that it is worded exactly the same as several equally incredible cell phone adds I've come across from several different sources. Note also that it says that the iPod is "unlocked" which is not really applicable to ipods but rather cell phones. So this person my be a second-hand con man who even steals his copy from others he imitates. Also, when you send money by Western Union you have no record of who receives it and no recourse for recovery.

couple dead give aways...
Western Union $$$ transfer
Gramatical / spelling errors
www based email address
$70 is far below the minimum selling amount that Apple dictates to its retailers.

These @holes are known scammers whom post on pretty much every forum related to (and probably some not) tech gear.

I would love to meet any one of these bastards in a dark alley....
