Want to Buy a new headphone

Hello, I am new here. I have a question you may be able to answer. I have a ipod and want a new headphone. I have a mv 700 from sony and would like to get rid of it. I am interested in the Koss MV1 or a Beyerdynamic DT 770 pro or something from Bose. I wonder if anyone has any suggestions for me.

Hey Blackmore

My Budget will be between 200 and 300 euros and I listen to different kinds of music. Like Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, Air, Portishead. I am a streatlistener so preferably a closed headphone. Thanks for your reply by the way.

If you don't plan to amp and need closed I'd vote:

Westone UM2 or AT A900, the DT770 will not do well straight out of an iPod. Not sure about the K271 but I think it might be better for other music types.

I'd get the UM2 or the Westone 3 thats coming out soon, the A900 would look horrible walkin around in the street.

You are so right if you look at the AT900 and you're the second person who advices me to go for the westone but I really don't wanna have earphones. It must be a closed big headphone. I am so used to that..

Other closed headphones - some may need an amp to sound decent from an iPod but you have options!
