I will say this - this is a substantial amplifier. It's a little bigger and heavier than the Larocco PRII - Something I never thought I'd see in a portable amp. Looks nice too (although not in the PRII's class in that regard).

Can't wait to hear it!
This post is making me anxious! Mine is in the mail somewhere supposedly arriving next week!

if you use the AC plug you can use your amp right away. also it did not take
10 hours to charge. the red light on the charger turned green in about 4 hrs

Exactly! Also I'm interested to read the comparison between Go-Vibe 5 and this... Since I got my Go-vibe just a month ago - CURSE YOU HEAD-FI!

I had posted earlier: I love the GoVibe5. My son adores it for its portability
(in jeans pockets etc). The Xenos is a little big and heavy for that (metal case,
size) It is not real fair to compare them: one is $75 the Xenos is $219. This has to be my last post on this amp until someone else gets one. My name is all over this and it annoys even me.

And to be even fairer, the basic Go-Vibe V5 is still only $75.

Well, initial listening is VERY favorable. The amp isn't broken in yet, but has open, clean mids, deep, powerful bass, and airy, extended treble. So far, me likey

Why yes, Charles, it's the special "dogmatic electrical engineer" edition that refuses to burn-in, strictly for the sake of its objectivist belief system!
