Looking for Rechargeable battery advice...

Hi all.

I must admit that I don't know Jack about rechargeable batteries. I did a Head-Fi search, and didn't find anything useful. Between my Wii, wireless mice, flashlights, and portable amplifiers, I am starting to eat through batteries at an alarming rate.

So I was hoping someone who knows a little bit about rechargeable batteries could help me out.

Any suggestions for a decent rechargeable battery set-up? I have heard good things about HIMH batteries. I estimate 8 AA rechargeables and a charger should do it for me.

Thanks!

Search the site again for NiMH
If you don't use the flashlight often, stick to alkaline batteries for their low drainage. Rechargeable batteries will lost their charge in a mater of months. Alkalines will be good for at least two years.

Or lithium... those flashlights that use cr123 lith's keep a charge for 20 years... plus they are lighter than alkaline and last longer per mass/volume...
