Second Annual International Meet Travel Thread - Page 5

I looked at the Caltrain stops, and it looks like you'd get to within a couple miles of the meet....but a long way to walk, and with an airport in the way.

My best guess at the way to do it is to ride Caltrain to that Santa Clara / Airport stop, find a shuttle to the airport, and from the airport get the Radisson's shuttle.

But that's a pain. What I think you really should do is see if you can solicit a kind soul to jump out of the meet and come over and get you from the Caltrain station once you arrive. (I'm afraid I cannot volunteer for this myself as I'm actually attending two events concurrently this weekend and won't be at the meet full-time.)

I will also ping the Radisson's conference coordinator to see if she has specific instructions for people arriving by public transit. The Radisson's website, as you may already have determined, was not all that informative on this topic.

LOL, I don't know if it's just that my wife is on drugs now for her labor, but the baby is going to be born soon, and she mentioned I could probably go to HeadFest. But problem is it's so last minute, so I don't have a room or ride planned.

Just a possibility, but it could all change after the baby is born.

Weather Heads Up International Meet

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but it is supposed to be windy and rainy this weekend in the Bay Area. So bring your sweaters and you probably won't need any suntan lotion.

Hello
I'm looking for a ride for the Sunday meet (and maybe part of Saturday), If anyone's going on Sunday... if you could stop by Berkeley that would be great.

I'm looking for a ride to the meet from downtown San Francisco Saturday morning sometime around 9-11 am. I could meet you anyplace convenient in the downtown SF area.
