Funny you should mention them because I just bought a VDA-1 and VAC-1 yesterday from Calaf and he suggested calling Dusty because CIA is in California. They are now on the list!

Are you getting tempted to make the trip Matt?

Sorry Al, that's still gonna be a no. I badly need to save for a car before I end up biking it to work .

I have added Head-Direct to the list of vendors in Post #1 who are signed up for the meet! There will be at least a couple more vendors announced this week, so stay tuned. . .

huh? I thought I posted here. Maybe I didn't hit "post"? Well, anyway, here's my wish list for some more vendors:

- Benchmark.
- Lavry.
- Red Wine Audio (with imods for sale to tempt me).
- I think it would be very interesting to invite someone from Apple's audio business unit to see if we can convince them to build an iPodiophile.
- For the DIYers, it would be great if Parts conneXion would join us and bring some cool caps, pots, knobs, enclosures, etc.
- SLAPPA had a nice showing last year.

Another:

I'd love to see a vendor like Salamander Designs or some other rack manufacturer come in and show how their racks work with amps, etc.

I'd invite them, but seriously. Conventions are a good place for manufacturers to get a look at the competition. Maybe the rep would haul a real headphone back to corporate and they'd see the light. You never know.

Hi guys. We'll be renting a room and a table. Basically we'll have all our stuff there and it will be in the room. It will be designated a quiet room. So, if you want to hear our stuff go to the room. I'll be at the table in the ballroom ... or milling around. But we'll be bringing four people probably so someone from HeadRoom will always be at the table in the ballroom to answer your questions.

I can't wait!

Is Tyll marketing an amp for an Orpheus (i.e., for an HE90)?

I wasn't going to bring it as I'm pretty sure someone else will show up with one, but .... if you want I will. Are you staying at the Radison for the weekend? If so, and if someone else is bringing one so it's not needed downstairs, I could loan it to you for your nightstand over the weekend. Maybe you'll just never leave your room.

hehe... neh, i live in berkeley, so most likely i'll go home inbetween days. i just wanted to hear that thing out of the wadia again. by my count, i think that most HE90s will not come with other amps, and not the HEV90.
