Recable ksc75... with what

Well i love my ksc75, and I really want to do something nice for them. So I am looking for some new cable, but what to use. It has to be good quality, but not more than 10$ pr. feet (approx), and it has to be thin (portable issue).
Secondly I need to find a good 3,5 mm plug that will fit the cable.

I have been looking at some Kimber tc4 cable, but is this the way to go?

Any ideas?

I think that a lot of people have used starquad mini for this kind of recabling. Look around in the DIY forum you'll find all of your answer.
