Need any help that I can get, in a delima need suggestions about my 2 speaker systems

I am in a delima and I was hoping that the wonderful community could help me out. To start off, I enjoy music, recording music, I am a musician, I enjoy PC gaming, and Console gaming (x360). I was hoping that I could use all of those elements with what I have recently purchased, the Klipsch ProMedia THX 2.1 pc speakers. They sound great, they really do.

So let me give you the rundown on all the products being used here and how they are wired up, before I ask my question (pics included).

- M-Audio MobilePre USB (main focus here is for recording music)
- Klipsch ProMedia THX (2.1)
- Event TR5 Studio Monitors w/ Mogami XLR to 1/4inch cables (no sub)

I have my studio monitors (Event TR5's) which I use for recording music, hooked up with the XLR to 1/4inch cables to the MobilePre (which I also use for recording music. Keep in mind that the MobilePre does NOT have a volume control so you have to control the volume through windows. I recently bought the Klipsch ProMedia's on sale (which DO have volume and bass control on the left speaker), I was going to hook them straight up to the computer until I noticed that the MobilePre had a "stereo line" 3mm mini jack output, so I decided to output the Klipsch ProMedia's from the Mobilepre. It is interesting, I can actually play music through both sets of speakers at once, and it actually sounds amazing, and can also be freaking loud if I want as well. I am able to have a nice kick from the subwoofer, and have the fantastic sound from the Event TR5's as well, all at once.

Here are the delimas

- Is this overkill? I mean I have 4 speakers sitting on my desk.
- It would be nice to eventually get an X-FI card, I would use this for PC gaming, most of the time with headphones.
- I am going to use my Xbox 360 on my computer lcd, It would be nice to be able share the speakers (The Klipsch ProMedia's have an aux input on the side of one of the speakers, a headphone input too, see photos)
- I don't have the money to buy a subwoofer to use with the Event PR5's (they are just too expensive for me right now, unless you know of something)

So what do I do? Keep both speaker systems? Sell the Event PR5's? Return the Klipsch ProMedia's? Hook everything up a certain way?

I have even thought of (would set me back $320) the Little Dot T_100 to switch between the Xbox, PC, and whatever else.

Anyway, I just want to have a clean setup, and if I can get any suggestions on what I should do, please feel free to throw in your two cents. I really do appreciate it, big thanks to everyone ahead of time !

When it comes to audio... nothing is overkill. Until you go bankrupt, then it's still nice to have.

I wouldn't want 2 pairs of speakers on at the same time. Bad things are happening I think with that 4 speaker setup, you're losing the accuracy that those Events have. I'm sure that the Events are better in about every way compared to the Klipsch so they should be all you need.

If you like more bass I still think buying a decent sub would be the ticket. For $300 you can have much better bass quality/quantity than that Klipsch sub- Outlaw LFM-2

Another sub that is worth buying is the HSU STF-1 subwoofer which costs $250 - here

$250 isn't too bad, but will I really hear the difference from both 2.1 setups? even then, on top of that I will need to buy an amp, but also, my other main concern is, what about hooking the xbox360 up as well?.. solution for two or more devices? I don't want to go with a stereo receiver though because I also use these speakers for recording purposes

Anyone else have any suggestions as well?

I did some more listening.. I've gotta tell you, there is a good reason these klipsch's are THX certified, they sound simply amazing when it comes to movies. That probably goes for games as well (xbox360). Another thing, I auditioned all the speakers again, and I have got to say, everything really does sound amazing when used together. If anyone can tell me otherwise I am very much considering on keeping the Klipsch's
