WARNING !!!! WARNING !!!! WARNING !!!!

Tamahome77 sold me an Alessandro Pro and WooAudio 2 (WA2). I paid for everything as soon as I received the agreement. However, it took a week later for tamahome77 to ship the package.

When I received the package, I was shocked to find the 16-pound WooAudio 2 amplifier lying on its side, without any protection on the bottom of the box and covered by a bunch of pulverized styrofoam peanuts.

Once the amp was removed from the box, I found that the volume knob was broken off the amp, and the volume pot stud is bent in such a way that when I try to re-attach the knob, it was put out of alignment to the chassis. The misaligned knob would rub against the chassis and get stuck when I try to turn it.

Also, the amp was found to have a dead channel. When I switch the 5998 tube, the dead channel also switches side. This made me believe that the dead channel is caused by the bad tubes.

I've tried to communicate with him asking for compensation to the cost of repair of the problems, but he insisted that I'm falsifying the information and refused to give full compensation. I have also offered to return the amp, but he does not respond to my proposal, or offer to give full compensation to the cost of repair.

After 4 days of communication, he still does not believe in my information, and does not offer to compensate for the damages. I had no choice, but to seek for help from a third party

WANT TO SAVE A FEW DOLLARS TO BUY A BIG HEADACHE ?

Please send me a PM if you need more information on this case.

The amp, tubes, headphone were fine before I shipped them out! This 3x331m guy above will not take a picture of the so-called damage volume knob. I filed a claim with the postal office and they needed pictures for reimbursements. He was avoiding to take pictures of the damage knob. How hard is it to take a picture of the damage area??? I'm sure he's hiding something from me. He got his money back and shipped the MS PRO and Woo audio 2+ elsewhere! Why is that? I called woo audio and asked how much it will cost to replace the knob, it's only $35. LOOK AT 3x331m's Feedback!

Note to everyone: If this one negative feedback makes you think I'm a bad seller, just don't buy it from me Thx

tamahome77,

Please stop using your framing tricks to cover your real color !!!!

I sent you the pictures of the bad knob stud and cracked tubes, and you kept insisting that you don't believe me, and you never wanted to compensate for my loss.

In order for my insurance to cover my loss, I had to send the amp and phones to Paypal. You had full payment from me, and you demanded to send the amp and phones back to you. Sorry !! I could have agreed with you if I'm a moron.

I don't owe you a penny !!!! Please don't try to pull the trick on another person. Be nice to yourself.... live an honest life!!!

WARNING !!! AGAIN !!! Deal with this guy at your own risks... It's your hard earned money. You can always deal with a more descend person.

3x331m, what are you talking about?? I had to pay paypal back and I have not gotten my amp or headphones from you! You've never notified me about shipping my amp and headphone off somewhere else. Also, you didn't want to communicate as well. After continously asking you where about is my amp and headphone, you've finally told me that you've shipped it to paypal? Why on earth would you ship it to paypal instead of the original sender?? I've called many times to paypal and they told me they didn't receive anything from you either! Either you or paypal is lying!

The tubes were not cracked and the picture you've sent me is extremely dark can't even see the knob. How the hell am I suppose to show to Canada post with that dark picture? Sure, if you want to co-operate, you would of taken a well lit picture which ONLY takes a minute. I would of forwarded it to Canada Posts' claim department and discussed with them about the damaged you've claimed to the volume knob and tube. It's so easy. Look at all my pictures, it's clear and well lit.

I wanted to compensate for the damage knob you claimed, out of my own pocket just smooth things out, EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T HAVE PROOF OF THE DAMAGED KNOB/TUBE to Canada post but you got too greedy and wanted to overcharge me ridiculously. I asked woo audio and forwarded the very very dark picture you've sent me. He couldn't even see any damage to the knob but told me it'll only cost $35 shipped to your home. You didn't want that and tried to overcharge me.

I'm really angry, annoyed, upset, and distressed having to deal with this problem with you.

I'm an honest person and live a decent life. It's people like you that is trying to rip me off and ruining everything for everyone. Again look at his feedback and see who you're dealing with when selling.

I had times where I'm the buyer of several amps and there weren't perfect. One came with a tube that was broken into pieces during delivery and one with a defective tube contact. I've never went to them hassling/threatening or start overcharging them. I didn't even asked them to compensate because the problem was so minor. I had paid out of my own pocket to have them fixed even. This is head-fi, this is a community where we all have a common interest and a place where we can share our enjoyment in sound together. The point I'm trying to make is between buying and selling, things aren't always going to be smooth. If there's a problem, just try to solve it in a reasonable mature way. I'm willing to co-operate for sure but I do not want to be taken advantage of in any way if problem arises.

Please stop hiding your true color.

I no longer have anything to do with you in this deal, and I did not rip you off. My loss was compensated by my loss insurance from my own bank.

It's up to you to deal with your beloved Paypal. I had nothing to do with Paypal. They did not help me in this case. They even closed my case when I try to claim for compensation to my loss.

As fas as I know, I paid you fully.

Vince bought a SOHA II prototype from me. I couldn't have asked for a smoother transaction.
I hadn't seen this thread or the claims made against him,
but based on my experience doing business with him, I would have no reservations buying or selling to/from him in the future.
Best wishes.
