I just want to be fair for all, I did order Cayin 880 monoblock amp costing AUD $2550 from China-highend-hifi and I did receive the amps after six weeks. I did pay by Pay Pal, and LL was very prompt with all the communication.

The monobolcks are original and I have used it for about three months and have no problem. In Australia the distributor does not stock such amp. After I have ordered the amp the distributor wanted to win me over by doing a special order. It was too late by this time as I have paid LL.

I also have bought Cayin 100 –T costing AUD $2050 from Cattylink, and did not have any problem. I wanted to order the monoblocks 880 from Cattylink and they said they can only offer the Chinese version (Spark), but LL gave me the export version.

LL has gone out of the way to provide superior and excellent service, and I am in the process of ordering Raysonic CD 168 through them costing AUD $2200. I know LL could provide me with the CD player.

But Cattylink say they do not have supply even though they have listed Raysonic CD 168 on their web site. From my experience purchasing via the web, please always pay by Pay Pal even if it costs you a little bit extra.

Who am I to write such a comment, I have purchased audio equipment whiten the last 24 months for a cool sum of 24K AUD and enjoying my hobby. Be bold to challenge any of your local dealers first. I did the same for my Marantz Pre and Power and the importer and distributor played ball and matched the overseas prices I got from USA.

This is where LL comes by providing a service to all Hi-Fi or music lovers like me to keep the price competitive and to provide alternate options for your Hi-Fi needs. So I kindly ask all of you to give LL a fair go. Thank You Ganesh.

Can i ask how much they charged for freight? Like you, I am in Australia and will be purchasing a Shengya CV15 preamp within the next fortnight. I have emailed China Hiend asking for the shipping cost, about 10 days ago, but have not had a reply. I bought a jungson JA99C from them 3 years back, it arrived without problem so I will happily purchase from them again, I just wish communication was better.

Hello HeadFiers,

I am sorry to express, but when sometimes I read all what is written here above on China-Highend-Hifi I ask myself: What kind of forum is this?

Is it a HiFi forum? Or is it an institution allowing everybody to publish on others in a way what just is not so?  Or, perhaps is it also a platform used by unhappy competitors as a tool to push down their rivals by placing them into bad light? I hope it is not. But, it would be a horror if so.

CHH is a very normal trading company on Chinese HiFi equipment world-wide via Internet and located in Hong Kong with meanwhile thousands of customers around the globe.

My dear friends: Do you think that such success can be reached by scamming the customers? The clear answer is: No, it can be reached by a vast majority of satisfied customers only.

Here some examples:

“POC, UK

Hi LL

Got the ms12B fired up and its sounds fantastic. Notice you have had some negative comments on some forums so if you want some positive comments feel free to use these:-

“This is my first experience using CHH and I was a bit apprehensive, here is my experience:-

               * CHH offers fantastic service and advice, I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response to my numerous emails

               * The MS12B is astonishing for the money, CD input absolutely silent, RIAA input slight hiss but at ridiculous volume (sound is very promising not run in yet)

               * Construction is fantastic for the price

               * Expect a call to pay VAT and don’t be surprised when DHL ask for it at point of delivery, just keep a record of payment

               * If you need a 240V product ask for it

Do not hesitate to use CHH, I will definitely use them again when I come to upgrade. LL is really very, very helpful.

I have no connection with this business, I am just a first time user who has had a fantastic experience overall, it takes a few weeks start to finish but it’s worth it”.

Thanks again, I am delighted and I look forward to using CHH again.

Pete

Or

PW, Sweden

Hi!

I thank you and your team for your absolute professional and easy going service. No trouble along the way and fast communication. The product arrives two days ago, thanks! “

These are only two.

But, CHH has many of them.

Nevertheless, CHH as any human or organization also is not completely free of failures and mistakes and on that as any other company we also receive complaints. We are aware of such problems and we work hard on keeping them minimized.

But, we also solve them. Therefore all of these complaints as published above meanwhile are solved and customers have received what they have ordered and where they have paid for. And they have not received items because of their above statements in this forum, but, because it is normal to deliver a customer his order.

What I want to say with all of this is that we are normal, good, but not always perfect, but, that one thing we sure are not: We are not scammers and we can proof this with hundreds of documents over now nearly a decade. So everybody who is naming us scammer as particularly it also is done here above should think about what he is doing here. It also could be considered as an offence for instance.

My dear friends, to reach a result as stated here above is hard and professional daily work. Unfortunately, with such thoughtless statements as they are placed also here it can be destroyed by just some mouse clicks. Do you want this?

Therefore, I ask everybody whether he is aware on what doing when placing bank account data and site details here in such forum? I also ask whether it is correct when supervisors of a forum accept such behaviour.

This, because, such data, even when it is public data in this way easily can be misused. Is it perhaps the intention of issuer and or publisher that it comes so? Sorry, but, please understand when I perhaps also come to such ideas.

Leung Liling from CHH

When I read about china-highend-hifi I ask myself: what kind of dealer can't do something as easy as reply to customers e-mails after they've given you their money? Why don't you communicate with your customers? When you take people's money and then don't even answer their e-mails, how do you expect people to react?!?

My thanks to the people in this thread who've shined a bright light on this companys poor handling of their customers.

If your customers who posted here had received good service they would not have complained.

How can you dare to suggest that those who were victims of your woeful service and communications don't have a right to warn others who may become victims of your atrocious work ethic?

As for their posting the details of their claims and correspondence, this is to assure the others here that their claims and disappointment at their treatment at your hands is genuine.

A hundred satisfied customers do not make up for one disgruntled customer, and you seem to have a few.

It should be easier for you to find my pursuit from the order number in your data records. Instead for the above speculation and let this continue, then you should know that i am a disappointed customer and that is driving my actions by feelings.. I feel stupid, angry and disappointed on my self when i wire the money by bank without any security at all. And feelings can be rather strong motivators.

I have written here a couple of posts for it seams that there has bean some resolution on the issues that has came up here before to others. So there has bean some chances to react/act on that here also.
My order RC12146818 from 2012-05 (so you can find it easier)

There are always time to do the right thing (by shipping the device that i have paid for and not received yet.)

Yes, this is a HiFi forum but i have not been able to play vinyl for over a year because of that i have not received that RIAA i have bought. So I have time over to make sure so that i can enjoy HiFi later when i get what i have paid for.
Best regards, Luciano.

Hi.

I received my item finally at 2013 09 20.

I will stop here and will not remove any information that I have posted earlier in this thread.

Because i do not like threats. And will they continue then I will make them public.

Thank you to everybody and to http://www.head-fi.org that has been kind to offer this space for resolutions!

Best regards, Luciano

If you find a price that is too good to be true, then it probably is. Some Hong Kong and Chinese sellers often have fakes and there are many generic web sites popping up with impossible prices. If the web site with the link doesn't have full details of the company then it shouldn't be trusted..

For those who are still interested in ordering from this company, I ordered LM 219ia from CHH about a week ago.
Before the order, LL confirmed that estimated lead time for shipping is about two weeks after payment is cleared.   So far, communication has been okay.

Will post my experience in this thread.

9/21: Order placed and send payment over the Paypal
9/22: Got payment confirmation email from LL
10/26: Got email from LL that there was some delay in line magnetic side. Now shipping eta is mid next week. LL replied all my email within 24hrs.
11/5: Got update from LL that the amps are inspected and shipped to US
11/7: DHL delivered the amps. Nice packaging. Product as described.

So, it took about a month and half to receive the amps after payment. But, LL always replied my email ~48 hrs and took care of my special requests fine (US voltage, shipping, FOB).
Beautiful amps. Sounds already good out of the box. I am so happy. Thanks LL.redface.gif

Cheers.

Hi all

you all say that you payed by PayPal.

I am not unexperienced in internet buying but when I choose the option Paypal I just have option to enter my address but not to close the ordering.

Can you please explain how to pay with paypal.

Thanks in advance

No, China Highend is not a scam. They are slow, only!
I ordered an amplifier Dussun V6i at the beginning of January. Some weeks have passed without any news. I wrote many times to obtain information about the shipping, but it seems that I have chosen the wrong moment for the order. The Chinese New Year was approaching and the activities in Hong Kong were probably quite slow due to the festivities. I finally received the item via DHL on February 18th, well packed, waterproof, H-bomb proof. I only can suggest to other customers to equip themselves with patience, the same one of the mysterious and composed eastern citizens... Please, give them reliance and wait.

I purchased a Cayin amp from these guys. Took forever. Finally arrived and the serial number is scratched off. So either its a fake or they buy them illegally and you get no support or service. I saved a few hundred after shipping, transfer fees and customs and have something with low resale and no warranty or support not to mention in the wrong voltage for North America. Next time I will buy legit, its worth the piece of mind and resale value.

I contacted this company as I'm interested in a Lin magnetic. After reading through this page it seems the view is split on this company. Not sure what to do but I'm leaning towards buying a line magnetic from an authorized distributor here in the states.
