You think im "sitting at the dinner table" at the first time? I hope my friend you dont newer ever make bad choices in you life. I dont blame anybody else but my self. But like i sayed, somebody else have to be stright about how to make deals and how to manage those you are dealing whit. If you take somebody elses money and dont give a **** about what he waiting for you to do. Your business is doomed to be shut down! I have my connections and some aces in my back pocket, you can read this subject earlier, maybe talking its not after all so bad idea.

china-hiend-hifi.com Is a Fraud.

I ordered a Yaqin MS-20L Tube Amp 11 weeks ago and payed by bank transfer and have not heard from them since. Have tried emailing them each week and phoning but never get a response. I have had a friend in Hong Kong go to their office today, only to find

the premises vacant.  My investigations have found the email address is a throw away address and the phone number is a mobile phone.

I am surprised to find that they still have an active website and will report them to the Australian Competition & Consumers Commission.

I wish I had found this site before I placed my order.

 

What can the ACCC do about it without working with the Chinese government??

 

The Chinese government probably wouldn't care...

 

EDIT: oh, its Hong Kong, that will probably make it a bit easier.

How much did it cost you in extra fees to send money to their bank account? Just curious thanks.

Just a suggestion: Make it clear in the title that we're talking about a company, not Chinese hi-fi in general. I was confused until I did a search.

I agree. However I feel bad for the original poster in all likely hood you probably won't get the money back, I wish you the best of luck though. You should file a report about it with you local authority and contact your bank and see if they have some type of protection or way to get your money back. Some banks will give you your money back if its determined as fraud.

I am new here and wish I had read this thread before I had ordered and payed for a MS-20L Tube Amp 12 weeks ago. I have tried emailing, phoning and messaging them through their website regularly and have never had one answer back. I had a friend in Hong Kong go to their office but it is VACANT. My investigations have found they use a throw away email address and it is a mobile phone number on their website.  I was never given a tracking number. As far as I am concerned it is a SCAM. I will be reporting them to the Australian Competition and Consumers Commission because they deal with WEBSITE FRAUD.

 

What's wrong with them using a mobile phone? Did you call it?

 

 

Read this thread, it seems like the typical outcome is "never respond to emails, waited forever, scammy scammers!, ...ok my amp finally arrived, good service and prices, recommend this store!, A+!.".

I ordered a chinese amp 6 months ago, and it took almost 1 month to get a response about my order. I was very upset by its poor service. 

At the end my order arrived. Try contacting them in every way, lets hope they reply.

I have to say... When you decide to do something, make sure that they know what you are doing. You have nothing to loose... Keep on pushing! My continous pushing give me effort! Read between the lines... I won!

I have received a email from them and have been told that the supplier is the problem. Shipping is now next week. Will keep you posted.  

 

At last they have emailed me saying they have had supplier problems. Shipping of this order should happen next week. Will let you know.
