Valvo tubes...any info?

I recently acquired a pair of Valvo tubes which I used to substitute for the JAN Philips 6922 ones in my X-Cans. Using the Philips tubes, the X-Cans bass was a giant blob of a dinosaur when listening to my SR325. WiIth the Valvos, the bass is properly balanced and the sound more clear and open.

Has anyone ever heard of Valvo? I don't recall it being mentioned either here or ar HeadWize. $30 CDN for the pair, I think I got a good deal.

I found this link. It seems to show the entire line of Valvo tubes.

Not much info but I did find out that they are from Germany. (late 60's)
