What are your thoughts on the CunninLynguists?

Onierology had some mad tracks on it and is one of the best albums this year whilst A Piece Of Strange is almost a classic. Amongst their other albums only Will Rap For Food is decent.

Agree 100%

It may not fit your qualifications to a T, but the group cLOUDDEAD are rap worth considering. It's what I've heard referred to as 'abstract rap' and I can see why. It's lyrically challenging and also many of the song structures themselves are quite ambitious. Quite trippy, too.

Just picked up two of the best albums this year

J-Live - SPTA

Paul White - Rapping With Paul White

"Murdering more mics than Conrad Murray"

What do you guys think about the new albums from Phonte and Evidence?

I'm really enjoying the Evidence album, for me, it's propably one of the top three albums that have been released this year. I'm digging the whole vibe, ev's flow and the beats. It would've been the best album of 2011 if Evidence had anything interesting to talk about.

Cats & Dogs is pretty dope, but Phonte's Charity Starts at Home album is amazing.

I love them and there is a little bit of rap, but not really a whole lot.

Anything anti con is pretty cool.
