Possible alternative for HD 600 cable replacement

I am seeking a fourth alternative for headphone cable replacement - Richard of Audience LCC has expressed positive interest when I wrote him an email about using audience cable for my HD 600 to replace the stock cord.
Only issue is that he does not know where he could acquire those headphone plugs.
I mentioned that I would check with the members of this forum and let him know...
So... does anyone know the source for buying those plugs?

I think that this has already been tried and the major limiting factor is that the plugs are custom jobbies. This means that you can take them off of stock cables or you can hardwire it to the phones.
