My first pair of woodies... Mahogany HF-1 that I made over Thanksgiving weekend in '05:

A friend's HF-1 that I made with some scrap mahogany as a gift:

My now-departed maple 325, which I put together for my office rig. I sold them after going with the Lunch Box amp which isn't compatible with low-impedence cans:

My now-departed walnut 125 which I couldn't justify keeping as I never reached for them over my HF-1:


I loved the walnut cups I had on the 125 so much so that after mentioning it to my folks, they bought me a new walnut blank for Christmas to turn a new pair of walnut cups for my HF-1! Wuhoo!

wow, those walnut 125's are sexy! nice job!

I wish I had the abilities and means to do that to my 225s.

Well I guess it couldn't hurt to show the kidnapped HHF-1s that 1911 has in Reading again...I swear I will liberate my cans this year!

i actually bought the walnut sr125's that en480c4 posted here when he had them for sale.
his skills as a craftsman are very impressive.

I looooove zebrawood. I only wish it was easier to track down locally in something bigger than 2"x2" for turning... I've found some 3"x3"x12" blanks online, but I just don't trust what I'd get ordering sight unseen. If you don't mind me asking, did you get that stuff local, or online?

My PPA was decked out in zebrawood too...

only if you also provide bleach for my eyeballs. Already I can never look at my k240s in the same way ever again!
