Philips MCD139

I am currently in need of some form of alarm clock. It seems practically impossible to find.
However, today I came across this:
Philips MCD139
Does anybody know anything about this? It plays practically everything, and I really need the alarm feature. The only thing I would need to buy on top of that would be a DAC if I wanted to use my headphones, since it has coaxial digital out.

Is this a good buy? If not, what is? I need an alarm clock feature, remember.

Any info or suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks!

Looks cute, and I have heard some of Phillip's other stereos in this "line" and they seem to sound pretty decent for what they are. I would say if you're looking for something not too over the top but that sounds ok and has the alarm, have at it. It's $99, which in the audio world isn't too much, but remember that $99 is $99.

Thanks for the advice. I'm debating, though, whether I should just get a small alarm clock instead, and put a DVD player in my room. I think this way might be more practical.
