Online store -> ships to canada fast?

Hi,

I was going to buy a Sennheiser HD555, but am trying to find a good place to buy online. I was at NCIX and their price was $200 CND, or about $175 USD; I thought they could be found for cheaper somewhere and you guys might know.

I don't want to use ebay or any unknown type of store, and I live in Canada and want the shipment to arrive by Jan4 (assume I order tomorrow, Dec 28).

So do you guys know of any good places that offer a better price than $200 pretax+shipping?

i'm also in canada and have had the same troubles as you. all you have to do is look around and above all, try to get them shipped to someone you know in the US and have them mail it to you as a gift. needless to say, i now own a pretty good headphone setup that i'm more than satisfied with as you can see from my sig below.

i was also at one point considering the hd555's, let me tell you the best place to buy those are on amazon/other US online stores OR ebay from a trusted seller (like an ebay-based reseller). i bought my brand new dt990s from one of them and i have been very happy with them, with over 12000 positive reviews, i knew i could trust the seller. just be sure to check their reviews out and make sure they're a power seller. the seller i bought from also had the hd555s for $90 USD brand new.

for my beyers, i had them shipped to my cousin's house in NYC, and then my cousin mailed it to me as a gift of a value under $60 across the border to avoid border taxes. it arrived here in a week and i've been a happy camper ever since. i had no trouble finding an amp because the go-vibe 5 is made here in canada (one of the best portable amps around) for about $90 CDN.

if you don't have anyone in the US who can do this for you, then look for an ebay deal that ships within canada, although i'm sure you won't find very good prices that way.

sucks to be in canada if you want to buy electronics at good prices.

depending on where you are and how close to the border you are, there may be a parcel palce that will hold packages and you go down and pick them up
