Hello all. This one is a beautiful little iriver H10 5 GB model, modded with the latest CVS build of Rockbox (as of December 20, 2006, which means it can boot into either the iriver firmware or the Rockbox firmware I've installed and tested through use). I also modded it to a UMS player, which has caused me no trouble and has made it infinitely more workable, as I prefer to copy music files to a hard drive, rather than going through extraneous software.
I originally intended to keep the player, but I'm getting an H10 20 GB model for Christmas, and I've decided to sell it as is.
It works perfectly well, and the sound quality with Rockbox on this thing, in my opinion, is better than both the original firmware and the sound I get out of Rockbox on my H320 player. Note that with Rockbox, while not all of them work perfectly on the H10 quite yet, you have a number of games and other plugins that make it worthwhile, as well as what is, in my opinion, a much better playlist system than comes with the original firmware.
Cosmetically, the device is in pretty good condition, no real damage, visible or otherwise. The back of the player has some tiny scuffs on it, but it's nothing I ever notice using it.
I'll include some helpful notes on the player (keymapping in Rockbox, and more) in a text file in the root directory of the drive, which your computer will of course be able to read, as well as either the original firmware and Rockbox, which both have built-in Text viewers.
