Yeah, so what is the verdict? Crickets can be included and even the silence of a tumbleweed.

Any more of the Extremes? I am listening to tubes now but nothing that grand or, how can I say it, uh. . . . EXTREME. . .


The only thing I would like better would be an EXTEME with paralleled GZ34's for the rectification, now that would be some sound and easy to do.

When I ordered mine, Mikhail said it would ship the last week of January. If he is on schedule, I have another 3 weeks to wait.

Mikhail said the other day he was about 2 weeks behind because of the weather. My amp was going to be under the christmas tree . Should be here by early next week.

Mine was shipped out Monday. I expect it to arrive anytime now. I'm also expecting my K1000s back from AKG this week (finally ).

If your k1000's dont make it back in time try out a senn 580 if you have one or can borrow one. The Extreme and the 580 are like the hand and the glove in my system.

I talked to Mikhail the other day and asked for a picture of my new Supra XLR/Extream (It needs a name guys.) because I wanted to see how he got all that stuff (6 tubes and 2 transformers) on top of a supra chassis.

He sent me an email said he would send the picture by Friday! Nothing. He makes me crazy by missing deadlines

Spoke to Mikhail earlier this week and my PPX3 is in the process of being converted to an Extreme. I'm expecting another week or 2 wait before I see it again.

Another Extreme On The Way

Wow, this was unexpected. In my e-mail this morning:

DHL Shipment Notification

Greetings from DHL!

On January 16, 2007 a shipment label was printed by M. Rotenberg
(303-340-2544) of SINGLE POWER AUDIO

This is a new experience for me, getting a Singlepower shipping confirmation. In the past, packages have shown up when they show up, like an act of God.

Even more surprising -- Mikhail had estimated a February 1st ship date when I placed the order. With all the bad weather, I was bracing myself for the middle of February, which would make this a month earlier than I'd expected.

Hmm, any chance they mixed up my order and sent a regular Extreme instead of a Platinum? (On the DHL website, it says, "Shipment Reference: EXTREME".) If so, it'll be VERY hard to resist listening.

The delivery date is projected for the 19th. We'll see . . .

I got the same email (uh...different tracking number). I have the Platinum and the email only said Extreme, so I wouldn't look at that. I sent mine back to Mikhail last Monday for BG outputs and now it's time for it to come back home to me. I have an Exemplar Denon 2900 on it's way as well. I'm looking forward (okay...very excited) to putting these two together
