head-fi member stole another member's headphone and sold them twice!

head-fi member 'catwoman'

(in the german forum mentioned above known as member 'echnaton30')

has stolen a pair of headphones from another head-fi member. It should be a trade, but she never sent her pair of headphones and denied that she got the headphones from the other member.

A few weeks later she offered the stolen headphones on ebay:

About 12 hours later she offered the stolen headphones in the german forum mentioned above. And sold them again!

The legal authority in Vienna, Austria, will get the documents soon.

head-fi member 'catwoman' has mentioned that she now has sent the headphones back to the legal owner.

holy shizzle she tried to rip Supermansears off? damn that guy is a friggin goldmine for us. let's see how it was resolved before passing judgement though.

If this is true, my sympathy goes out to Superman's ears. First the Omega I that turned out to be an Omega 2 and now this. Ouch.

Not that I'm encouraging stealing, but she's definitely stupid if she went through all that trouble just to steal a pair of SA3000s.

Wow, I contacted Catwoman about her Fubar II DAC. I guess I'm lucky that no transaction took place because she said she didn't want to split that combo up!

EDIT: To the OP: I hope you contacted Jude or an admin a little while before you posted this thread?

She offered to trade her 650s for my 701s for a trial period after I mentioned that I would be open to that in a comparison thread. I didn't respond because she only joined in August and is in Europe, so I figured I wouldn't take the shipping cost/risk from it. I'm glad I didn't, to say the least. Hopefully it's all a big misunderstanding.
