Hi ppl,I want to buy a pair of cans for X-mas,from this senn's wich is better?

HD485 -65eur
HD465 -59eur
HD497 - 58eur
HD477 - 56eur
HD515- 58eur
HD201 - 26eur
HD202 - 30eur

If there is another pair of cans lower than 70euros and that are much much better than one of this senn's tell me

I'm gonna take a stab at the dark and say the HD202.....it just sounds like a cool model number

Nooooooooooooo, anything but HD202. It's the audio equivalent of chronic diarrhea. You wanna know bass bloat? Listen to those.. they just splurge it all over you all the time.

I listen to house/electro music and "rock" (I Think) (muse,led zeppelin,pink floyd,tool,etc) the phones will be plugged to my fortissimo 3

What do you think of AKGs? In that price range the K81DJ fits your music and it's under your budget.

If not I dunno about those Senns except HD202. Whatever you do avoid those. HD202 is crapola.

well the headphones will be mostly for electro/house..I don't know if in the shop that I went there is AKG,but I'll try..but I don't know why,I always wanted a pair of senn's
for what I heard the best are the 515 and the 485..but wich one of those do I buy?

people seem to like the HD485 around here......I haven't heard any of these so I can't comment. Just that the AKG 81DJ might be good at house and trance, but not so good for Jimmy Hendrix and Tool. Problem with sub $100 headphones is that there's no good all rounders. If there's anyway to get the AKG81DJ and a Grado, I think many people will be well served....

How much are the Sennheiser PX 100's in Euros? They don't look like they would sound good, but to me they sound quite good for the price. (Are the Senns you listed all closed? If you want closed headphones and require isolation, the 100's wouldn't be for you.)

the px100 are 39eur..some of those are closed other don't..
Koss portapro's are +-55eur and the akg d81dj are 69eur
my strong doubt is now between the 497 and the 485
these will be my 1st set of "real" cans..so I don't want to go very very badly :P
