New Headroom Website?

Thread Starter
Does anyone know when the new Headroom website is supposed to be ready? Is there a new web address? The regular site has not been updated for a very long time. Thanks.

I'm not sure when everything will be complete; I know they've been very busy recently so it will probably be a while before it replaces their current site.

We are very close. We are doing tests right now on the hosted web secure transactions process. I expect that we'll be up by the end of next week.

Uh.....Tyll? In the "gaming headphones" section, you *are* going to say, "get headphones with good A3D imaging!"? RIGHT? And you're going to test which ones are good with the various stereo imagings that work with headphones, like A3D, riiiiight?

Hey, Headroom's working on an audiophile portable cdp, right? How about getting started on an audiophile gaming card?

Wait a minute.......I had completely forgotten about the Headroom PCDP! This makes my source deliberations so much easier.

That is, if it outperforms a dirt cheap transport with a CAL Gamma.....only then.

Otherwise.......otherwise it'll just be plain pointless.....IMHO

Sweeeeeettt!
Hope it looks good, as if it's ugly i wouldn't buy it purely for the sound.

I'm excited!

Ah, but coolvij, can you stand waiting until they actually finish it? After all, look at how long the website alone took...

Well, I'm thinking a Panasonic 570(A!?) will be good company......till then
post #11 of 41
and don't forget that it's probably going to cost about $1,000.

Yea.....

*starts saving up*

Anyways, So, they, like, have to top the Sony D-777.

Um.

So, uh, what really cool lesser-known features does that one have that they might be able to duplicate?
Well, I don't know anything about the D777, so I can't answer the D777 question gluegun posed.

Neruda: 1,000? Pcha - by the time I have completed m Coltrane collection (senior year?), acquired CD3Ks (senior year?), and gotten a job (unknown date...), I'll be able to pull the Headroom PCDP, easy......

It will be a COMPLETE SOURCE for me..............

ok.....i'll stop dreaming, lol......

Tho, I DO have CD3Ks in my future, eventually.......

Anyone else find it strange that the domain headroom.com does not exist? The money for reserving it and having it point to headphone.com as an alias or something would probably be well spent. When not using a bookmark I unthinkingly type headroom.com every once in a while, everytime being puzzled anew it doesn't exist. Someone could come and pull an evil stunt under that name...

wilbur: I've wondered the same many times....VERY rarely do I remember to type "headphone.com" - tho that's prolly cuz I didn't like their old site too much, and their prices weren't competitive enough for cheaper cans. When it comes to more expensive cans, HEADROOM ROCKS!!!!

(except for Sonys, which happen to be the cans I'm most interested in right now, alas....)
