Cool tin for a cmoy?

What do you guys think?

I'm ordering one from biosciencegeek off of ebay, and he does custom cases if you send it to him. I was plannin on gettin one of these sent off to him

Any reason why it wouldn't be a good cmoy case? too nerdy ?

That is a creative idea, I think you might be one of the first people to ask him to shove a Cmoy into a Christmas decoration

On another note, Biosciencegeek is a great seller. I got my first CMOY off him, initially I had some issues with it but I just emailed him and he fixed it free of charge. In fact I am jamming to his Cmoy right now .

How does his auto on/off switch work? Do you guys have problems with the jack wearing out? Meh to the way he voiced his auction though. Seems to put down other amplifiers.

That was actually the problem with my first one was the on/off switch was defective. Like I said, though, he fixed it up in less than a weekend and promptly shipped it back, great service overall.

But I agree, the way he voices his auction is a bit overblown, the amp isn't really as good as he makes it out to be.

I found the tin seen below at World Market and figured it would be the ultimate gamer geek CMOY tin. The lid is not hinged but rather removes completely. The mints that came with it are horrid, I suggest throwing them out.

damn thats pretty cool!

however may stick with the superman tin as the NES tin seems a bit larger, and i'd like to keep it as portable as possible.

ha ha, I have those. I like the mints...
Anyway, I was planning on having my brother build a Cmoy in it when I'm done with the mints, and it looks like the idea isn't exclusive to me. sweet.

The jacks have a built-in switch. They don't wear out over time and are pretty solid and reliable. I did find a few duds in the bulk stock I purchased however. I 've weeded them out, so this shouldn't be an issue anymore.

Also, you are right about the wording of my auction sounding like a put down to other amps and amp builders. On re-reading it, it sounds completely uncool. I went in and reworded my web page more carefully so it doesn't offend the other great amp builders out there. My current ebay ads have about 3 days left; when they end, I'll put up the reworded text. Thanks for catching that for me.
