How about adding a countdown to the Meet links?

Googling "javascript countdown clock" brings up some hits, if you need some ideas/solutions.

East coast meet..

I would be up if it was an east-coast meet.. Miami, Forst Lauderdale, or Orlando would be as far as I will go. Any east-coast mods or admins in the area?? I believe there were meets before in Michigan or NY area, right??

Well I'll be a blue nosed gopher! (…especially if I don't cut down on the Single Malts…).

Quite miraculously (literally) — it's beginning to look as though I may be able to attend, after all!

More to follow (he whispers, cautiously — even … [dot-dot-dot] … conservatively).

HUZZAH! I WILL DEFINITELY BE IN ATTENDANCE AT THE GRAND INTERNATIONAL MEET #2 IN SAN JOSE, CA!

I will be be convening with SiBurning & Immtbiker in the 2007 7-Mile High East-West Super-Mini-Minis-Meet.

In actuality, there hasn't really been a "mile-high club" since – when? Late 1950's/early 1960's?

hey i got a question, if i wanted to bring my birlfriend along, will she have to sign up as a member and register separately? or will i be able to get 2 student tickets by myself?

So far we have been asking folks who want to bring a guest to get the guest to sign up and register separately. But we know that's an inconvenience, and we're working on a "register a guest" option; it just isn't quite ready for prime time yet.

I will let episiarch make a more complete announcement of how the guest registration works, but he and Jude have figured it out! Guest registrations tracked to your member name are up and running! Regular and student guest rates are also supported. Check it out on the registration page and sign up your friends and family. Thanks to Jude and episiarch for getting this going and making life easier!
