I guess I'm in! Can't wait to meet everyone (and check out the K1000 room, of course ).

Rob

Good day, eh! Glad to hear that at least one of our neighbors from the Great White North is attending. Get on the horn with philodox and some of the others up there and organize a last-minute push South!

Thanks!
We will solicit sign-ups but you can pay for the Saturday dinner and/or the Sunday BBQ at the meet.

Cheers!

Take off, ya hoser!

I think I read a post from ASR where he offered to cover half of Philo's flight to the meet, but Philo wouldn't accept, so that might be a tough one.

I'm surprised though that no one from B.C. is planning to make the trip?

Yeah, sorry guys, but I will not be at this one.

I hope to make the next... and will definately be there if things are still going as planned for the 3rd international meet. Not sure though as I think there have been some 'organizational changes' since I was last in the loop.

Well, you could make it in spirit if you want to lend out the K340 and the Massive Attack for me to take along?

She's not exactly in 'show condition' at the moment, but thanks for the offer.

That's too bad. Listening to that set up was the highlight of the meet in Toronto last year for me.

I hope I get the chance to check it out again sometime soon. We probably should be having our own local meet this summer?

No avatar? Get one!

As posted over in the Announcements thread, quite a few of you who are attending don't have avatars yet. If you're one of these, I urge you to get an avatar right away. Your meeting badge will include your avatar (if you have one), and it's far and away the best way for people to quickly recognize you at the meet.

will my thing look different if become a contributing member (again) and it gets bold?

also, will us people who paid 2x as much for the original registration get any benefits or refund?

Everyone who paid the original, higher prices for admittance will get a refund to make up the difference. I should have done this a while ago, but I apologize that I have not yet.

I tried performing these refunds as PayPal partial refunds, but unfortunately our system here could not tell the difference between a partial refund and a full refund, and was removing people who were given the partial refund from the registration list. As such, all refunds have to be done manually, and I will try to get to that as soon as I can.

Again, those who paid the original, higher 2007 International Head-Fi Meet ticket prices will get a refund to make up the difference between what they paid and the newer, lower pricing.

That's the plan. There's not really room to put the word "contributor" on the badge, but the typeface of your username on the badge will reflect your bold-contributorness.

Two and a half weeks, people! It seems amazing that the meet is upon us. Sign up and be counted, this event is not to be missed!
Maybe I missed somewhere in all this but what are the times for both days events?

Is any help needed with the setup?
So, I am almost positive I am going, but I think I can only make saturday, am I missing out on a lot?

Also, should I bring my headphones, or is it not worth it (I am sure a lot of other people will have 225s)
