haha well... I wont go there for the sake of not wanting to get my heads chopped off by those whom like their death metal without growls... i love growls and i do them myself

Johan Liiva was better at vocals.
Angela whats her face is just ugh.
Good thing I don't like them that much anyways.

I would go with Opeth btw as someone recommended above. It does have some growling in some songs but also clean vocals. Soilwork's first album is pretty cool too and is more on the screaming side.

Opeth - "Ghost Reveries"
Lamb of God - "Ashes of the Wake"
In Flames - "Come Clarity"
Nevermore - "Enemies of Reality" (Remaster)
Carcass - "Heartwork"

All really good death metal and death metal influenced records. I saw Arch Enemy on Gigantour, a great live band. If you like the guitars Micheal Amott played on the Carcass record "Heartwork" which is one of the best real Death Metal albums ever.
