POST 2000: Favorite Hip Hop Albums? - Page 2

Madvillainy would be my favorite hip-hop album since 1999. Quasimoto: The Unseen probably second.

Another recommendation for Ghostface/Fishscale.

If you like soul singing, trying St. Elsewhere: Soul singing with hip hop production.

I really like Think Differently: Wu Tang meets alternative culture. It features a bunch of different artists, so it might be a good way to sample people's styles too.

Masta Killa's No Said Date and Made in Brooklyn

Quasimoto's The Unseen

El-P - Fantastic Damage

There was just something utterly off-kilter and backwards about it.

Jonathon.

Infectious Organisms - Human Experience

IMO, one of the greatest hip-hop albums that almost no one has heard of.

One of my absolute favorite hip-hop albums:

Del Tha Funkee Homosapien + Kid Koala + Dan the Automator: Deltron 3030

Edit: It was out in 2000 so don't know if that counts.
