Stax Omega two and the SRM 007T What

are some good audio cables that should be used to connect the SRM007T to a Cd Player or other musical devices? I Just changed to. using Audio Monster Cables. They seem to be bright but definitely lack the Bass.
How much of an improvement can a really good pair of audio cables make in the performance of the Stax Omega two's and the SRM007T?
Can you recommend a pair of Audio cables that will give me more brightness and more bass?
Thanks Scottsmrnyc

Alot, a pair of good IC's make the stax sing. They are capable of delivering more in the lower and upper frequencies. The truth is ofcourse that electrostats always have a little problem when it comes to bass, but the omega 2 suppose to have plenty of it, so try good IC's and you'll be surpised how good this combo really is.

Interconnects make a lot of difference!
Hard to give any specific cable advice, since it depends on the source and how you like the sound. The best way is to borrow some different pair of cables and try them at home in your own rig.

Good silver cables will do this. The Kimber KS1130 that I'm using are very good but there is better out there, even for less money. I'm waiting for Ridge Street Audio to finish my Poiema!!! cables and they should be a lot better then the KS1130. They are handmade with better wire and all natural insulation, no teflon crap.

cables

if u have some liking for nordost u can hear some advice from patrick 82.

I tried the lessloss cables for my rig and i will say its a pretty detailed cable at reasonable price. Some1 told me its way better than nordost red dawn, but he never compared it to nordost valhalla.

I used the nordost valhallas with the oo7t/OII combo very, very holographic sound but gave up impact & bass compared to the Amazons.

Stax OmegaIIs and cables

Thanks for responding to my questions. Do you think a pair of Copper cables will work well with the Omegas and the SRM007t????

Some copper might work well and even carbon but most of these present an unnatural glow and hyped dynamics and the Omegas won't like it. This is a gross generalization but it holds true in many cases. The Omegas are slightly dark and laid back so they need a kick to get them started.

Their fit is the most important imho. They are built unlike all other headphones so you might have to bend the metal bands to get the right sound signature. If the fit isn't right the bass is overblown or they are way too laid back.

That's because the valhalla's are that neutral! almost any other cable adds something to the low end or top end, while these stay neutral. Something to considder when you try these. They let you hear the sound of the gear and their performance! If you're happy with your system, you can use Nordost because they are very neutral, for hiding weaknesses i would go for another cable.
