No.....thomas got me all excited once.....but he was just speculating.

The closest thing would be a CAL Gamma with a homemade battery pack......

there was a couple of Audio Alchemy products (company defunct) that could run on a DIY battery supply but surprisingly no one has targeted the portable "audiophile" crow,maybe not enough of us

BUT THERE IS HOPE=Aos,Thomas ,and myself are working on just such a device (not together but turns out to be the same thing really ) and there should be a stable design by winter

Another problem with portable DACs is which transport to use. My Panasonic CT780 skips like crazy (no skip protection whatsoever when using optical out) and consumes batteries real fast. Don't know if Sonys are any better...
