POST PICS OF YOUR DARTH BEYERS - Page 157

What strikes me the most: I'm kind of a basshead and DT770 '05 often is described as bass-light. So that was my initial fear: that I was going to miss the delicious Darth bass.

I'm not hearing that. The bass on mine is nothing short of jaw-dropping :)

That's because of the enclosures

I mean, my drivers are still in the DT770 enclosures, the're not yet placed in the Darth cups. So things will only get better :)

My Darths are now 600 ohm. I personalized them a little bit more:

600 ohm Darths

They sound awesome. They sound so much quicker and cleaner compared with 80 ohm drivers, it's great. I love them.

Indeed they do - the 600 ohm Deep Darths are AWESOME!

Great pics...great thread!

Is this by any chance also the longest head-fi thread? (2345 posts)

It's got a while before it overtakes the ortho thread, which just broke 15,000

Mmmm..woood. :)

Never heard 'em, but they look scrouptious!

That text on the lips is great; really gives them the finish they deserve. Enjoy them!

Hmm...  what sort of difference does the 600ohm driver made?

I'm still happily using my VXD3 (cups covered with black leather) by the way, but the deal that is up (VXD5, Korina with 600ohm driver) is tempting. Should I pull the trigger and find out what the big improvement is?

I think the 600 ohm drivers sound much better - they make the cans considerably more natural sounding, IMO.

Will be ordering mine on Monday! Really looking forward to it.

So Skylab, the era of your Darths have passed, you're selling them all (?)

With the current one, you state that they feature DT990/600 drivers.. How do they compare to DT770/600 drivers?

I'm not sure if you'll ever read this, but since F/S isn't a place for discussion, I'll try it here anyway :)
