AKG K518 vs K81DJ vs K181DJ

How are they different from one another?

They all look the same...

The 1st 2 are the same, just different color scheme. 181 is the big brother with a mono/stereo switch, big hall effect switch, and lousy reviews.

What are you talking about? They don't integrate the Amazon websites because different countries sell different items, using different currencies and languages. The reason you can find K 518 DJs on the German site and not the U.S. one is precisely because K 518 DJs are available in Germany and not in the U.S. AKG themselves list the K 518 DJ as "available in selected markets only!"...I too would love to see some K 518 DJs come stateside, but so far they haven't. It's quite possible they never will.

you can get them at bestbuy, but only online site. i just ordered them today. any good or bad things about them?

-bass can get boomy
-vise grip of death on the noggin (loosen headband by bending arms out--don't worry they won't break)
-build quality excellent
