Hi all,
I am new to this site and I think you are doing a great job... very interesting

I was wondering if someone here has ever used Jasmine Serenade with headphone. If so, how’s the sound ?!?

Thanks

Wow, I hope somebody reads this because it has been a while since this post. I have the jasmine in my store at the moment and I have used it with K701 and HD600 and both sound quite good. I will say the amp could benefit from having the tubes rolled, but the USB DAC with Foobar sounds great. If you listen to Jazz and classical you will love this amp. Thus far I have noticed the amp to slightly prefer the sound of the senns, but the imaging on my k701 is great. However the bass on those tends to buzz out on dynamic passages. However, those headphones aren't quite broken in yet so it could be they are going through a phase of break in. If you listen to Rock you may want to roll the tubes to something like SED power tubes and upgrade the preamp tubes to cryoset EH gold tubes. All and all though it does make a convincing argument for itself and has great presence and authority with cans.

Hello,

I hope you still on this forum, anyway I read your comment about the tubes for the Jasmine Serenade. I have this amp for a few months and I love the sound. I have bought some Camebridge Audio SL30 speakers, which is a good combination. I listen mostly to rock music and found your suggestion of changing the tubes interesting. Are there any other tubes which will make the amp more suitable for rock music?
